Former Asante Kotoko management member George Kennedy has urged the club fans to rally behind the team when the going gets tough.

The Porcupine Warriors have managed five wins, three draws and four defeats in the domestic top-flight. And with 18 points, the Ghanaian giants find themselves in the 7th position after 12 matches.

George Kennedy, who is a club legend was in attendance when the club defeated Future Stars in the FA Cup to advance to the round 32 at the weekend.

“Coach Ogum needs time. He’s still under contract and needs our support to achieve great things with the club. We made some new recruitment this season after letting go over 18 players at the beginning of this season”

“So the team and the coach need time to get back on their winning ways. Let’s rally behind the team in this difficult time and I believe strongly that we will be great again”

Asante Kotoko will face archrivals Hearts of Oak in matchday 13 at the Baba Yara Stadium when the Ghana Premier League bounces back next week.
