Ghana striker Caleb Ekuban's market value has skyrocketed to £9m since joining Turkish side Trabzonspor.

The 25-year-old has enjoyed a massive rise in form since he made the permanent  switch to the Turkish side in 2019.

Ekuban joined Leeds United in the summer of 2017 but endured an injury-ravaged first season at Elland Road, making 20 appearances.

He was farmed on loan to Trabzonspor and later made a permanent switch for £900,000 in July last year.

The Ghanaian has now seen his market value shot up after a revived career in Turkey.

The Italian-born striker is now valued at £9 million, according to Fotospor.

The situation has sparked claims that the West Yorkshire club were too quick to bin him during a difficult spell during his time at the club.

The Ghana international has already fetched a hat-trick in the Europa League.
