Former National Sports Authority (NSA) board chairman, Kwadwo Baah Agyemang, has endorsed the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer and Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia for the 2024 elections.

He praised Dr Bawumia's choice of Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, also known as NAPO, as his running mate, seeing it as a strategic decision that would benefit the party.

Baah Agyemang shared his experience of visiting Kumasi to attend NAPO's unveiling ceremony and to introduce him to the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, at the Manhyia Palace.

Speaking with Kessben FM, Baah Agyemang expressed his confidence in Dr Bawumia's prospects for the 2024 elections.

"Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia, who will be the next president of Ghana, has chosen NAPO as his running mate. I'm here in Kumasi today to present him to Otumfuo before we formally introduce him to the public. That's the main reason for my visit," he stated.

Dr. Bawumia is set to compete with NDC flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, and other candidates in the upcoming elections.
