Fortuna Dusseldorf are set to make a move for German-born Ghanaian midfielder Christopher Scott.

The Bundesliga two side join Celtic as clubs interested in the youngster's signature.

According to Transfermarkt, the midfielder is valued at 1.2 million euros.

The 20-year-old current contract is set to expire in the summer.

According to Sky Germany, Bayern has extended his contract for another year but are planning on loaning him out.

Fortuna Dusseldorf have held discussions with Bayern Munich over a possible move.

Austria Klagenfurt and Celtic have also shown interest in the Bayern Munich midfielder following his impressive performance last season.

According to the "Kronen Zeitung", SK Austria Klagenfurt are preparing a bid to sign the youngster.

Scott was born to Ghanaian parents in Cologne, Germany and started his career at Bayer Leverkusen before moving to the Bundesliga giants.

However, he has made only two senior appearances, which came at the end of last season.

He is yet to feature for Julian Naglessman's side but has been a key member of the youth team this season in the Regionalliga.

Christopher Scott has scored six goals and provided six assists in 15 games in the fourth division in Germany.

The teen sensation's contract expires in June allowing him to leave on a free transfer.
