Four Ghana Premier League players invited by CK Akonnor for Ghana's clash with Sudan

Four Ghana Premier League players have made Charles Akonnor's first Ghana squad for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sudan. 

They are Aduana Stars striker Yahaya Mohammed, Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Richard Attah, Asante Kotoko central defender Habib Mohammed and AshantiGold left-back Kwadwo Amoako.

Only Yahaya Mohammed is not a debutant. He made his Black Stars debut in 2007.

Yahaya has been rewarded for his impressive scoring form in the league. He has netted 10 goals in 12 matches.

Richard Attah has been consistent in goal for the Phobians. Habib Mohammed and Kwadwo Amoako have also impressed for their clubs.

The Black Stars will host Sudan at Cape Coast Stadium on March 27 in Group C of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying.

It will be followed by a reverse fixture in Omdurman within three days.
