Hibernian central defender Francis Dickoh is free to play at St Mirren on Sunday after his red card against Kilmarnock was overturned.

The Ghanaian was sent off by referee Steve Conroy when a penalty was given for a challenge on Kieran Agard during Hibs' 2-1 home win on Saturday.

However, the former Utrecht player appeared to win the ball cleanly.

And the Scottish Football Association upheld the appeal against the punishment lodged by Hibs.

Dickoh has been a regular at the heart of the Hibs defence since his arrival from Dutch football in late August.

And manager Colin Calderwood will be delighted to have the 28-year-old available for a vital game in Paisley.

Hibs are three points better off than 11th-placed St Mirren, with bottom side Hamilton five points adrift of the Buddies.
