French coach Folz Romain Khalid has arrived in the country to begin his new role at AshantiGold Sporting Club.
The former Chamois Niortais assistant manager arrived in the West Africa country on Sunday evening via France Air.
Khalid will emplane to Kumasi on Monday and continue the journey to Obuasi.
The 30-year old comes in to replace Serbian coach Milovan Cirkovic who parted ways with the club earlier in the season due to health reasons.
Folz has had stints with Pyramids FC in Egypt and the Uganda national team.
The miners currently lie 10th on the league table with 22 points after the first round.
AshantiGold plays away to Karela United when the second round of the Ghana Premier League kicks off this weekend.
