AS Monaco are progressing in talks with AZ Alkmaar to sign Dutch international of Ghanaian descent Myron Boadu.

The French giants are confident of concluding a deal to sign the talented 20-year-old.

The Ghanaian striker enjoyed a fabolous 2020-21 season, netting 15 times in 38 appearances across all competition for AZ last season.

He is being targeted as a replacement for  Stevan Jovetic in the squad, who did not have his contract extended after it expired last month.

Myron Boadu is in the spotlight of Ligue 1 club AS Monaco. The striker still has a contract with AZ for 2 years, but the Monegasques would like to bring him to the principality.

Myron Boadu is still linked with AZ until 2023, but AZ Alkmaar could lose him in the current transfer window.

The talented forward is an undeniable asset for the Alkmaar club, except that Monaco intend to bring him to France.

RMC Sport has reported the Monegasques would be close to signing Myron Boadu in the ongoing transfer window.
