Ghanaian forward Francis Amuzu has popped up on the radar of French Ligue 1 clubs, Het Nieuwsblad reports.

Nice and Marseille are the two clubs reported to be in the race to sign the Ghanaian forward in the summer transfer window.

The 22-year-old scored a hat-trick over the weekend in Anderlecht's 3-0 win against Royal Antwerp in the Belgian top-flight league.

Amuzu has struggled for game time under Coach Vincent Kompany this season.

The youngster has started in 14 games out of the 43 appearances he has made all season.

He was set to leave the club in the January transfer window but after talks with manager Vincent Kompany he rescinded to stay with the promise of more game time.

Francis Amuzu is eligible to play for both Ghana and Belgium.

Amuzu was born in Accra, moved to Belgium at a tender age and holds a Belgian passport.

Belgium coach Roberto Martinez will be eyeing the youngster ahead of the World Cup in Qatar in November should he improve on his performance.
