Ghana international Anthony Annan appears to be on his way out of Norwegian outfit Rosenborg afterà Marseille joined the chase for the midfielder.
According to reports in French newspapers, Marseille sent scouts to observe the midfielder in Europa League.
Marseille are looking to add some more depth to their midfield in the January transfer window and head coach Didier Deschamps reportedly sees the 24-year-old Annan as the perfect addition to his squad.
Annan started his professional career with Hearts of Oak and also wore the jersey of Start and Stabaek before joining Rosenborg in the summer of 2008.
The midfielder has since developed into a key player at the Norwegian champions and his good performances haven't gone unnoticed elsewhere.
Aside from Marseille, clubs such as Liverpool, Manchester United, Hamburg, Trabzonspor and Olympique Lyonnais are also keeping tabs on the highly-rated midfielder.
