Midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong has blasted Samir Nasri for moving to Manchester City in a reported £23m deal.

The Frenchman who would officially be unveiled as a Manchester City player today will see his weekly salary double to £175,000 in the process.

But rookie Gunner, Frimpong tweeted: "Money is the root of all evil," after Arsenal announced the move on their website yesterday.

The 19-year-old was still seething

at Nasri later in the day after team-mate Jack Wilshere wished him all the best.

Wilshere said: "Good luck to my friend Mr Nasri.

"I learnt a lot from him. World class player. Will be missed."

But Frimpong tweeted back: "Pffffff come-on Jack," implying he will not be missed by many players at the Emirates.
