Frustrated Aduana stars defender Caleb Amankwa reveals players have not received salaries in four months

Aduana Stars right back Caleb Amanakwa has revealed players of the Ghana Premier League champions have not been paid for four months.

According to the former WAFA defender, he depends on his father for a living due to the abrupt halt of the domestic championship.

“We are without salary for four months now,” Amankwah told Nhyira FM.

”I now depend on my father for a living. We the players of Aduana Stars don’t know when we are reporting to camp.”

Players of the two times Ghanaian champions broke camp after their disappointing CAF Confederations Cup campaign.

Caleb Amankwa joined the Dormaa based side at the beginning of last season from West Africa Football Academy.

All football related activities have been suspended following the revelations of the Anas documentary dubbed number 12, which caught several top football officials on camera allegedly receiving cash to influence the game.
