Bechem United coach Kassim Ocansey Mingle insists referees in the Ghana Premier League are not up to standard following his side's defeat to Karela United on Sunday.
The Hunters were reduced to ten men in the first half after captain Moro Salifu was shown the marching orders in the 2-1 defeat.
Karela United took the lead through Diawisie Taylor from the spot before Bechem leveled from Kofi Agbemasi's strike. Reginald Thompson sealed victory with a75th minute goal.
“The officiating is very very bad, the officials are inexperienced," a furious coach Mingle said after the game.
“The officials are not up to standard to handle premier league matches, it’s only few who are up to the task.
“Most of them don’t know what they are doing on the field of play.
The coach also accused referees as the reason behind the lack of success in the Ghana Premier League.
“They are destroying the beauty of the second round, the success of the league largely depend on them. But look at what they are doing.”
The Hunters will host Hearts of Oak on Wednesday without captain Moro Salifu.
