Galatasaray ready to sell forward Maicon to fund Bernard Mensah's purchase

Turkish giants Galatasaray are set to sell Brazilian forward Maicon to finance the acquisition of Ghanaian midfielder Bernard Mensah.

Maicon spent the 2019/20 season on loan at Saudi side Al Nassr in a deal worth 1.5 million Euros, with the Gulf club willing to make his stay a permanent one.

However, the Yellow and Reds demanding an amount of 3 million Euros to fund the purchase of Bernard Mensah.

The Kayserispor star is top on the wish-list of Galatasaray, following his impressive performances in the Turkish Super Lig this season.

Mensah has scored five times and made eight assists in 25 games for Kayserispor despire the club's struggles in the league.

The offensive midfielder is expected to leave at the end of the season, with interest also coming in from Besiktas and Fenerbache.

Kayserispor lie 17th on the Super Lig table and defeat to Trabzonspor on the final day will see them relegated from the top flight.
