Galatasary pull plugs on Muntari signing

Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari's proposed move from Inter to Turkish giants Galatasaray seems to have collapsed.

The midfielder was expected to join the club before the transfer window closed in Turkey later today.

However, it appears that Galatasaray have now pulled out of the race to sign the Black Stars ace.

The 27-year-old joined the Nerazzurri in the summer of 2008 at the request of then boss Jose Mourinho.

The former Portsmouth man has struggled for regular action at San Siro and spent the last six months of the 2010-11 campaign on loan at Sunderland.

He returned to Italy in the summer after the English club opted against signing him outright from the Beneamata.
