Goalkeeper Muntari should be credited for the low scoreline after a pulling a string of impressive displays against the bulky-looking North African side.

The solid performance by Medeama will give coach Tom Strand massive hope ahead of the return encounter in Ghana on March 20.

Al Ittihad won't be pushovers in the reverse fixture after putting up a commanding display away from home.

The return leg takes place at the Essipong stadium in Sekondi on Sunday March 20.
