Gaziantep FK end ties with Ghanaian midfielder Raman Chibsah by mutual consent

Turkish Superlig side Gaziantep FK have announced they have parted ways with Ghanaian midfielder Raman Chibsah following a mutual contract termination.

Chibsah had quite a decent campaign at the Gaziantep Arena as he managed 14 appearances in the 2019/2020 season.

The 27-year-old joined Gaziantep in August 2019 from Italian side Frosinone Calcio on a three-year deal.

Manager Marius Sumudica doesn't have the Ghanaian in his plans for the 2020/2021 season leading to the mutual termination.

A statement over the release of Raman Chibsah by Gaziantep FK reads:

"In our Gaziantep Football Club, our paths have been mutually agreed upon with Raman Chibsah, who played for the past season,"

"Chibsah made a visit before our team's training this evening and said goodbye to our technical delegation, staff and football players,"

"Wishing success to our team in the new season, Chibsah left our club by saying goodbye after the fun organization organized for him,"

"We would like to thank Raman Chibsah, who has been one of the most popular names with his character and funny personality since the day he was in our club, for his contributions to our club and we wish him outstanding success in his career."

The former Ghana U20 star has been linked with a return to Italy but the club remains unknown.

He has previously had spells at Juventus U19, US Sassuolo, AC Parma, Benevento Calcio and Frosinone.
