Genoa coach claims side dominated during Fiorentina draw

Genoa boss Gian Piero Gasperini believes his side dominated during the goalless draw at home to Fiorentina on Sunday afternoon.

Il Grifone held third placed outfit Fiorentina to a 0-0 draw at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris, as neither side could provide fluidity in their attacks.

“To entertain people is important to us. We are satisfied because we played a great game against a very good team,” Gasperini told Radio Rai.

“We dominated the match.”

Genoa forward Suso had an effort which struck the post, in what was only his fifth game on loan from AC Milan.

“Yes, it is true, I am very satisfied with how Suso is doing,” Gasperini added.

“I think the side can take a lot in terms of morale and enthusiasm from the game.”
