Genoa could try and turn Andrea Pinamonti's stay with the club into a permanent one early in order to let them loan the striker out according to a report in today's print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

Pinamonti joined the Rossoblu club on a season long loan with an €18 million obligation to buy attached from Inter, who they have a gentleman's agreement with to send him back to them in the Summer.

Cagliari have come forward and shown an interest in the Italian youth international and if Genoa manage to convince Inter to let him go permanently early, it will have a domino effect as signing Pinamonti on loan for the rest of this season would allow Cagliari to move Alberto Cerri on with SPAL understood to be interested.

Since arriving at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris, 20-year-old Pinamonti has made 17 appearances across all competitions. In 1315 minutes on the field, he has scored four goals and tallied three assists.
