German-born Ghanaian winger Christian Conteh eager to take his chance at Feyenoord next season

German-born Ghanaian winger Christian Conteh is hoping to gatecrash Feyenoord squad next season following his impressive loan spell at Dutch outfit FC Dordrecht.

The 22-year-old has enjoyed a decent run of form in the Eerste Divisie - providing two assists in the 3-2 win over FC Volendam last Friday.

The Ghanaian-German is expected to return to his parent club Feyenoord at the end of the season.

And he hopes to take his chances when given the opportunity after heaping praise on coach Michele Santoni for reposing confidence in him.

"He also gives me a lot of tips on and off the field. For example, how to recover after a game or what is the best food for me," he tells RTV Rijnmond

Although he is having a good time at Dordrecht, Conteh wants to take his chance at Feyenoord next summer.

"I think this match, with the fans and the field game, is the best and most beautiful experience in the stadium since I've been here", beams the quick winger, who hopes to be on the field in De Kuip later.

" Eine geile Mannschaft!  It's a great team! I'm looking forward to the next season. It motivates me. I will certainly do my best for that."

Conteh is in contact with technical director Frank Arnesen. "We talk to each other, but what we discuss between us, we keep it private."

His contract with the Rotterdam team will continue until mid-2024.
