Midfielder Manfred Osei Kwadwo is open to playing for his country of birth Ghana despite holding German citizenship.
Born in Kumasi, the Ghanaian came to Germany at the age of five and is currently a citizen of the European country.
"Should there ever be a request from the Ghana football association, I would certainly apply for dual citizenship," says Kwadwo, whom everyone calls "Manni".
"Manfred is not such a rare first name in my African homeland," he explains, "he was probably brought by German immigrants. I also have friends called Ulrich and Wolfgang."
The 26-year-old has not represented Germany at any level and recently signed a contract with Preussen Munster, where he claims to feel at home at.
