German lower-tier side Wuppertaler SV have completed the signing of Ghanaian defender Philip Aboagye, the club has announced.
The 21-year-old has joined the regional soccer team from Rot-WeiÃ.
He has been signed as a replacement for Jonas Erwig-Drüppel, who has left the club.
The Ghanaian scored a goal, provided three assists in 28 appearances for Rot-Weià last season.
Last season, he featured in 28 games for Rot-Weià Ahlen scoring one goal and providing three assists.
“I'm really looking forward to the challenge in the regional league with Wuppertaler SV. I see the best opportunity here to develop myself and to take the next important step for me," Aboagye told the club's media

Sporting director Stephan Küsters also said: " We are delighted that we have been able to win Phillip. He is a young player who can be used flexibly and has great potential Playing against us showed Phillip what he is capable of,"

The German-born Ghanaian has featured for Hombrucher SV, SG Wattenscheid 09 and VfL Bochum.
