General Secretary of the Ghana Football Association, Prosper Harrison Addo has reaffirmed its outfit's position in making women football development it's main priority.

Harrison Addo said at the launch of the Women's FA Cup that the FA is taking all necessary steps to ensure women's football gets the right attention it deserves.

“The FA will continue to support for Women football and it’s evidence on various social media handles like twitter, Facebook, the FA website etc where women football is dominating.”

“On the international scene, the Maidens have started their FIFA U17 women’s World Cup campaign, the Black Princesses are in Morocco and The Black Queens are also in Turkey. The Agenda is to take women football to the apex in terms of development”.

In ensuring women's football is at the top, the astute lawyer also called on corporate Ghana to support the development of the game.

“The FA cup is a known competition and we will ensure that the field is leveled for all participating clubs so that on a good day you play your best and win.

"The FA’s doors are open to cooperate institutions, government and individuals to support women football but until that support comes the Ghana Football Association will raise the necessary resources to support the women’s game.”
