President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Edwin Simeon Okraku, has disclosed his outfit's support for clubs representing the country in Africa.

FC Samartex and Nsoatreman FC are through to the second round of the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup respectively. The Ghanaian champions face Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca while the FA Cup winners engage CS Constantine of Algeria.

Last season Medeama SC and Dreams FC reached the group stage of the various competitions with the latter progressing to the semi-final of the Confederation Cup.

According to president Okraku, the FA's vision is to see Ghana's representatives reach the final of their competitions and that they have the full backing of the fa.

"With the same vision, put in all the hard work and at the end if there is success, we should be proud. Indeed our vision was always to see them go all the way to the grand finale. Our vision this year is to see all our two teams go all the way and everybody at the FA is committed to that vision," he told Micky Jnr during CAF Coaches Symposium in Ivory Coast.

Both Samartex and Nsoatreman FC will be in action in Africa this weekend.
