GHALCA Elections: Kudjoe Fianoo is number 1, Vice-chairman Alex Ackumey number 1 on ballot paper

Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) Chairman Kudjoe Fianoo would be placed on the number one spot on the ballot paper in the 2021 elections scheduled for January 21. 

He is to be followed by his challenger Isaac Wilberforce Koomson -  a former vice-chairman of the club's welfare body.

This was the outcome of the balloting which was conducted by the GHALCA Election Committee on Wednesday.

Vice-chairman Alex Ackumey - who is seeking a second term in office picked the number one slot while his challenger John Ansah- who served eight years on the Executive Council picked number two.

Liberty Professionals Chief Executive Linda Ansong - who is contesting as a treasurer picked the number spot with his challenger Justice Boison picking number two slot.

King Faisal Sporting Director Nana Amankwah Kwakye picked number one, former Asante Kotoko official Edmund Ackah picked number 2 and West African Football Academy (WAFA) operations manager George Ofosuhene-Peprah picked number three.

Heart of Lions Felix Bewu picked number one with his opponents Eugene Nobel Noel picking number two for a slot on the National Division One.

Emmanuel Opoku-Abrokwah picked number,  Eugene Jacquaye picked number two while Vincent Boateng picked number three for the regional slot on the ballot.

Immigration Ladies official Anita Wiredu-Mintah also picked number one while her opponents Edna Quagrin picked number 2.

114 delegates will go into the poll to elect a chairman and Executive Council to run the affairs of GHALCA for the next four-years on January 21, 2021 in Accra.
