This yearââ¬â¢s Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) Top Four competition has been slated to kick off on August 20.
The off-season tournament which features the teams that finished in their respective top four positions in the Ghana Premier League will be played across three venues.
These tentative plans were made at a meeting with representatives of the participating clubs on Wednesday.
This yearââ¬â¢s contest will feature Ghanaian Premier League champions Asante Kotoko, second placed Heart of Lions, Hearts of Oak and AshantiGold who finished third and fourth respectively.
Kotoko and AshantiGold will play their home games at the Baba Yara and Len Clay Stadiums respectively while Hearts of Oak and Heart of Lions will share the Accra Sports Stadium as their home grounds.
The first round of the competition will be played within one week, starting from August 20 all the way through August 24 to August 27.
The second round of the tournament will begin on September 3 and end on 14th September.
Discussions are however ongoing with potential sponsors of the tournament with Blue Jeans and GoTV the most talked of.
All negotiations and confirmation of the tentative plans will be confirmed by GHALCA before the competitionââ¬â¢s launch on August 13.
