Ghana made a late entry into Swaziland via the Ngwenya border post on Friday night from South Africa for Sunday's 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at the Somhlolo Stadium.

The Black Stars arrived at about 8.50pm local time from Johannesburg when they had earlier indicated that they would touch down at the Matsapha airport by 4pm.

Acting Director of Sports Sipho Magagula and other Sihlangu security officers as well as Football Association’s Chief Executive Officer Frederick Mngomezulu had to wait for over three hours at the Ngwenya border.

The Black Stars were whisked to their Royal Villas base when they finally landed by road.

Ghanaians resident in the country were also at the airport but had to rush to the border upon getting the news the team was not on the plane.

Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac has 21 players available for selection following the withdrawal of in-form striker Mathew Amoah due to injury.

The team wrapped up their preparations with a 2-2 draw with South Africa side Kaizer Chiefs on Thursday.
