Black Stars attacker David Accam scored a magnificent goal for Helsingborg IF as they whitewashed BK Hacken 5-0 in the Swedish top-flight league on Monday night.

Accam, 22, scored in the 76th minute to add to his season's tally of three and his consistent performance of providing three assists.

The former Right to Dream Academy graduate walked through the Hacken defence from the left side of attack, cut in before bending a piercing drive into Christoffer Källqvist's goal for Helsingborg's fourth goal at the Olympia Stadium.

Before registering his name on the score-sheet, the youngster had been involved in the third goal for his side in the night when they expressed total dominance over an underperforming Hacken side.

"It was a good game for us and we work as a team and got the results. For My goal, I think its just another prove of hardwork. It's my third and I hope to score more as the season roll on," he told Ghanasoccernet.com.

"I have also provided three assists and it's always great to be involved for my club," he added.

Accam opened his season a brighter note scoring a brace in Helsingborg's 3-0 win over Djurgården in March.

Former Ghana U17 captain Nasiru Mohammed played full-time for Hacken while defender Joseph Baffo and Reuben Aryana warmed the Helsingborg and Hacken benches respectively.
