Ghana's African Youth Championship opponents Nigeria will engage Uzbekistan's Olympic team in an international friendly on Tuesday night.

The Flying Eagles who are on a training camp of Turkey have settled down well in Antalya ahead of the 17th African Youth Championship in Libya next month.

The side have been involved in a series of high profile friendly matches in recent times including a back to back meeting with the Libyan's youth team.

Head coach Sam John Obuh is optimistic the schedule for the training method is going on as planned and claims his boys are in good shape ahead of the championship in the North African region.

"We have no problems, and our minds are already tuned to the training camp programme. We look forward to having a very useful programme and also playing a number of friendly matches," said Obuh.

The five-time African Champions will meet the defending champions Ghana in their Group B opener on 19 March.

The top four teams will represent Africa at the World Cup finals in Colombia in July-August.

Ghana became the first ever African team to win the U-20 World Cup when they triumphed over Brazil in a penalty shootout in Cairo in 2009.

Libya are tournament debutants, while Lesotho and Gambia are making only their second appearances.
