Belgian giants Anderlecht confirm signing of Ghanaian youngster Emmanuel Sowah

Belgian giants Anderlecht have confirmed the signing of Ghanaian teen Emmanuel Sowah.

The 17-year-old defender joins from newly-promoted Ghana Premier League side Dreams FC.

The Ghanaian youngster will feature for the the side's youth team to continue with his development before being graduated into the senior team

 

“We have signed two players for the U21 team and we will see how they progress. They are Emmanuel Sowah Adjei a right back and Glecio a left back,” Van Holsbeeck told Voetballkrant," Sporting director Herman Van Holsbeeck confirmed.

“Malian Abdul Karim Danté will also be joining soon. We are targeting young talents at the moment. It is difficult for defenders to show their skills. We will search for talents where needed and see how it goes.”

The Ghanaian youngster the latest Dreams FC player to join a Belgian club after striker Benjamin Tetteh signed for Standard Liege.

Adjei is the junior brother of ex-Kotoko captain Daniel Nii Adjei
