Ghana-born Roberto Massimo was absolutely powerless and endured an embarrassing defeat with Germany U21 team.

Massimo lasted 65 minutes as Germany were completely destroyed 4-0 by Poland in the European U21 Championship qualifiers on Friday night.

The VfB Stuttgart midfielder was making his first appearance for Germany since September as coronavirus forced him to miss October international break.

Jamie Leweling who rejected a call-up from Ghana made a substitute appearance in the match.

The two players had been on the radar of the Ghana Football Association but it appears they are unavailable.

Massimo has a German father and Italian mother but was born in Accra while Leweling has a Ghanaian father, both they both have committed to Germany.
