Swansea City star Andre Ayew says he remains focused on helping his side secure promotion to the English Premier League next season.

The Welsh club currently occupies the fourth position on the Championship table with 69 points as they chase automatic qualification.

Swansea has lost four consecutive games and they look to return to winning ways this weekend against  Millwall.

Andre Ayew whose contract expires in the summer says he does not want to lose sight of the job in hand as Swansea seeks premier league promotion.

He has been the go-to man for Swansea City in the ongoing campaign with his performances and goals for the club.

Ayew has scored 14 goals in  33 appearances yet in another campaign after leading the side only to loose out in the playoffs last season.

"We will see. When you start thinking about that, it takes away some of your focus, and I don't want that," he told FourFourTwo.

"It could get to a point where that question will come - 'Are you staying or going?' - but right now I'm happy here.

"There's the Africa Cup of Nations and World Cup in 2022, so I need to be in the best possible shape for those, as they're very important to me.

"But first I need to focus on making sure Swansea achieve things this season."
