Ghana coach Charles Akonnor has confirmed defender Nicholas Opoku is not fit for the Qatar game.
The Amiens player sustained an injury in Black Stars disappointing defeat against Mali last Friday.
Opoku picked the injury in the first half but continued playing until the 79th minute when he was replaced by Celta Vigo ace Joseph Aidoo.
Reports were that it wasn't a serious injury, however, the 24-year-old has not recovered fully for Monday's game against Asian champions.
"He has not fully recovered. The Doctors will look at it again, asses him and inform me, "Akonnor said ahead of the match.
Opoku has made four appearances for Black Stars since his debut in 2017.
