Ghana coach CK Akonnor can win the AFCON title with only committed players- Bright Addae
Bright Addae has joined Slovenian side Nogometno Drustvo Gorica.

Ghana U-20 World Cup winner , Bright Addae, says only a united front will see Charles Kwabla (CK) Akonnor win the AFCON title with the  Black Stars.

Ghana has been eluded from winning the title since 1982 in Libya and have come close to ending the streak on two occasions in 2010 and 2015.

Bright Addae who currently plays in  Italy's first division for Juve Stabia said players must also be committed to play for the badge in order to win the title.

“CK Akonnor is a good coach and he can win the AFCON trophy if the players are very committed and ready to play for the badge. If they do that they can win the AFCON”, he told Happy FM.

On national team selection he said, “I will always be ready to come and play for the Black Stars when called upon”.

He urged Ghanaians to also adhere to the safety protocols amid the corornavirus outbreak

“I will urge Ghanaians to obey the protocols and adhere to directives given out by health officials and the government”, he added.

Bright Addae was part of the 2009 Ghana u-20 team the Black Satellites that won the FIFA U20 World Cup in Egypt.
