Ghana coach Charles Akonnor has named SEVE debutante in his 23-man squad for an international friendly against Mali next month. 

Azam defender Yakubu Mohammed has been handed a call-up following his splendid display in the Tanzanian Premier League.

There are also places for French-born Strasbourg defender Alexander Djiku and relatively unfancied Israeli based Eugene Ansah as well as unattached Razak Abalora.

Pyramids FC striker, John Antwi, who is the highest foreign scorer in the Egyptian top-flights gets his much-anticipated call-up into the team.

Former Dreams FC midfielder Emmanuel Lomotey, currently on the roster of French outfit Amiens, get his chance with the Black Stars for the first time.

FC Nordsjaelland's Kamal Deen Sulemana has been drafted in after an explosive season in the Danish Superliga while Benson Annan of MSK Zilina also get his chance with the West African giants.

The Black Stars will battle the Eagles in an international friendly on October 9 in Antalya, Turkey.
