Black Stars trainer Kwesi Appiah has revealed he is no longer haunted by the fear of being sacked as a coach.

The mild-manered coach is having a second stint in-charge of the Ghana national team.

Appiah was sacked after supervising a calamitous 2014 FIFA World Cup finals campaign where they failed to progress from the Group stage.

He was later signed on by Sudanese side Al Khartoum SC where he led the club to play in th CAF Confederation Cup qualifiers.

Having garnered some experience now, Appiah is prepared for the worst.

''You see, you learn a lot and there are so many things that happen in the background. In my first spell, I was afraid of so many things like getting the sack and all,'' Appiah said on Metro TV's Sports File show.

''But now, I am not afraid of getting the sack. I am not afraid of taking any decision. There is nothing I am afraid of now because at the end of the day, it it does not go well, it is all on me.

''I always do all I need to in order to get the best out of my work. People can suggest but they cannot interfere with my work.''
