Ghana coach to retain squad for England friendly

Ghana's Serbian coach Goran Stevanovic says he will retain the same team from Congo when they face England in an international friendly next week Tuesday.

"We will retain the same team to travel to London for the England friendly but right now I will not speak anything about the England match since our main focus is on the match against Congo which is a must win for us," the Serbian said.

Ghana has an array of stars, some of them playing in the English Premier League.

Sunderland trio of John Mensah, Sulley Muntari and Asamoah Gyan, keeper Richard Kingston of Blackpool and John Pantsil of Fulham.

They will seek to show their pedigree with the likes of Germany-based Anthony Annan, Kwadwo Asamoah, Samuel Inkoom, Derek Boateng, David Addy, Sammy Adjei, Dominic Adiyiah, Dede Ayew and Isaac Vorsah,

The Serbia-based duo of Lee Addy and Prince Tagoe are also in camp in Kenya with others.
