Ghana coach wary of Swaziland threat

Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac says he does not expect a stroll in the park performance from his charges against minnows Swaziland in Sunday's 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

Rajevac claims he is tackling the match seriously and knows the Swazis have the attributes to stage a surprise.

The Serb was speaking after the Black Stars hour-long practice on the artificial turf of the Somholo Stadium, venue for the match on Saturday afternoon.

"There’s nothing like an easy match now. We know Sihlangu will be very tough as they’re at home and have the crowd advantage and also motivated to be playing us. There’s just no easy games anymore but we’re ready and will have no problem with the artificial pitch," he said.

"All my players are here and looking forward to the game. We know the Swazis are also going to recognise us from the World Cup as we performed well but that performance only means we have to keep doing well to show we’re good," he added.

The four-time African champions shot into global consciousness after an impressive display to reach the quarter-final at the just ended 2010 Fifa World Cup in South Africa.

In contrast, Swaziland are chasing their first qualification berth to play in the Africa Cup of Nations final.
