Ghana defender Baba Abdul Rahman started trained with his new team-mates at German top-flight side Augsburg on Wednesday, just 12 hours after joining the club, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

He is getting ready for a return to the German top-flight after joining the Fuggerstädter to replace Matthias Ostrzolek who has been sold to Hamburg.

The 20-year-old completed his move from Bundesliga II side Greuther Furth yesterday and signed a five-year contract.

Reports in Germany claim the talented left back was signed for a transfer fee of three million euros.

Augsburg FC finished eighth last season in the German Bundesliga.
