Belgian top-flight side Waasland Beveren on Thursday presented Ghana defender David Addy to the media and their fans.

Last week, the left-back signed a two-year deal with an option of a further on a free transfer.

"I am emotional and often cry when I'm on the field. I am really a different person, a little 'crazy',” Addy said at the unveiling ceremony.

“I welcome this new step in my career. It is a new opportunity for me. Hopefully I will be successful like my time in Portugal.

“The coach gives me a lot of confidence that you need as a player."

The 24-year-old played at Portuguese side Vitoria Guimaraes last season.
