Ghana defender John Boye has signed a two-year contract with Metz

Ghana defender John Boye could make his official debut for Metz in their French Ligue 2 opener against Brest tonight. 

The 31-year-old has been included in matchday squad by manager Frédéric Antonetti.

Boye returned to France to seal a two-year deal with the second-tier side this summer.

He opted not to extend his expired contract with the top-flight Sivasspor and despite several offers from other Turkish sides, opted for Metz.

Goalkeepers: Alexandre Oukidja, Paul Delecroix.

Defenders: Laurent Jans, John Boye, Stoppila Sunzu, Jonathan Rivierez, Matthieu Udol, Nicolas Basin.

Midfielders: Mamadou Fofana, Renaud Cohade, Geronimo Poblete, Ablie Jallow, Farid Boulaya, Gauthier Hein, Marvin Gakpa, Opa Nguette, Matthieu Dossevi.

Attackers : Ibrahima Niane, Habib Diallo.
