Ghana defender Jonathan Mensah is the best African defender in the air in Europe after getting rave reviews for his aerial abilities.
According to statistics, the centre-back wins more aerial challenges than any other player in the major European league.
Mensah wins 51 aerial duels which represent 79.69% and he is highly rated than Nicolas N’koulou of Marseille.
He is also better than Hannover 96’s Salif Sane, Papy Djilobodji of Nantes and Abdelhamid El Kaoutari.
The Evian TG player has been top form this season and has made 19 Ligue 1 appearances.
