Black Stars center-back, Jonathan Mensah is excited ahead of his sixth campaign in the Major League Soccer.
The 31-year-old, who failed to make an appearance at the Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon, returned to the Ohio-based club to start pre-season.
Jonathan Mensah has enjoyed a largely successful spell in the United States, leading the Gold and Blacks to the 2020 MLS title as well as the Campeones Cup in 2021.
"It's been 6 good years in the MLS. I have thoroughly enjoyed it. I continue to thank God for the blessings and the strength to continue. And thank you Columbus Crew, the fans and my teammates for the enormous support. We go again this season," he wrote on Twitter.
