Ghana defender Jonathan Mensah donated assorted items to orphans of the Osu Children’s Home on Christmas Eve.

The France-based defender is back in the country on brief holidays following the winter break to most of the leagues in Europe.

Mensah who has returned to first team training with his club Evian TG after recovering from injury surprised the orphans with his unannounced visit bearing gifts.

He presented the assorted items included cartons of soap, bags of rice, biscuits, fruit juices, gallons of oil and candies to the orphans as their pre-Christmas present.

The donation done by Mensah forms part of many other similar donations being done by several of the Black Stars nationwide during this yuletide period.
