Ghana defender Joseph Attamah earns Turkish Superlig play-off place with Fatih Karagümrük

Ghana defender Joseph Larweh Attamah and his team Fatih Karagümrük have booked a place in the TFF First League playoffs.

Karagümrük finished the season at the 5th position on the league standings earning them a place in the playoffs round.

Karagümrük join Adana Demirspor, Akhisarspor and Bursaspor to compete for the final spot for the Turkish top-flight.

Hatayspor and BB Erzurumspor secured the automatic promotion to the Turkish Superlig after finishing first and second on the standings.

The Black Stars defender joined Karagümrük on loan from Super Lig side İstanbul Başakşehir in January.

The 26-year-old could remain at the Vefa Stadium on permanent basis if Karagümrük gain promotion to compete in the Turkish top-flight next season.

Attamah featured 14 times for Karagümrük before the regular season came to a closure.
