Ghana defender Mohammed Salisu named in AS Monaco’s travelling squad for PSG showdown on Friday

Ghana international, Mohammed Salisu has been named in the AS Monaco squad for the big game against Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in the French Ligue 1 on Friday night.

He is one of 21 players selected by AS Monaco manager Adi Hütter for the trip to Paris to honour the Week 21 league match.

The strong centre-back has been a reliable man at the back for the French giants and will have another chance to show his quality on the pitch in the away match tomorrow.

In the ongoing 2024/25 French Ligue 1 season, Mohammed Salisu has scored one goal after making 13 appearances for AS Monaco.

Mohammed Salisu, 25, recently met with Black Stars head coach Otto Addo.

The defender who has been a regular in the Black Stars since his debut is expected to be part of the Ghana squad that will be assembled by coach Otto Addo for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar.
