Ghana and Amiens defender Nicolas Opoku made an injury return for his club side as they defeated Grenoble Foot 38 by 1-0 in the Ligue 2 on Saturday.

The centre-back picked up an injury during the international break with Ghana but seems to have recovered well in time to feature for the French Ligue 2 side.

"Nicholas Opoku is fine, he came back and took part in a session with us. He told me that he had preferred to insure the blow, not to take risks. He took a hit in the first match against Mali", Amiens coach Oswald Tarnot gave an update on Nicolas Opoku injury situation.

Opoku returned to the starting line up for his side on Saturday and played the entire duration in that 1-0 win at home.

Stephen Odey 64th minute goal secured the win for Amiens SC to secure them the three maximum points.

Fellow countryman Emmanuel Lomotey also featured in the game for Amiens as both players joined the team earlier this week from international duty.
