Ghana defender John Pantsil was recalled into the Leicester City team for the first time since the end of the Africa Cup of Nations on Thursday.
The right-back was an unused substitute as the club drew 1-1 with Blue Square Premier side Kettering Town in a benefit game for the cash-strapped club last night.
Pantsil is down the pecking order has been inactive since joining the English Championship side last summer.
However, the 30-year has been enjoying more playing time on international duty with Ghana.
Pantsil captained Ghana in some matches at the Africa Cup of Nations where the Black Stars finished fourth.
