Ghana defender Samuel Inkoom has been named in the Georgian top-flight league Team of the Week after an impressive performance for FC Samtredia on Saturday.
The former Asante Kotoko right back was outstanding at the right side of defence for Samtredia in their first league game since the return of the league following the coronavirus induced break.
Inkoom showed glimpses of his old self, winning balls and running in some good crosses in the 1-1 draw against FC Dila Gori.
The 31-year old's man of the match performance earned him a place in the team of the week, as he looks set to relaunch his career.
It was his first game since joining the club in January 2020 from Bulgarian side Dunav Ruse.
