Ghana defender Stephan Ambrosius happy to be getting regular playing time with Karlsruher SC

Ghana defender Stephan Ambrosius is happy  to be enjoying more regular playing time at German Bundesliga II side Karlsruhe.

Ambrosius is on a season-long loan at Karlsruher from Hamburg.

The 23-year-old was deemed surplus to requirement at Hamburg and was loan out to Karlsruhe in search of regular playing time as the World Cup draws nearer.

Stephan Ambrosius  showed a decent performance for Karlsruher against his mother club Hamburg this weekend in the league which ended i a 1-0 defeat.

Speaking after the game he said : "Of course I was happy to play in Hamburg again after a long time, the atmosphere was great."

Ambrosius is happy that he's now getting more playing time for KSC. "It's a completely different feeling as a player when you collect a lot of minutes," the central defender knew and raved about his start in Karlsruhe: "Since I've been at KSC, I've been able to play every game. I notice that. I feel good."

Ambrosius performance has rewarded him with a maiden call-up to the Black Stars for the upcoming friendlies against Brazil and Nicaragua later this month.
